Kidnapped by Cake!

I spent most of the holidays resisting the sugar! It wasn't hard at all, mostly because I don't like the way I feel after eating too much sugar. But, here comes the New Year, all crisp and clean, filled with fantastic possibilities....and a few weeks in and I find myself suddenly kidnapped by CAKE!

Delicious CAKE! Sweet, sugary CAKE!! Fabulous, yummy, oh-so-good, homemade CAKE!!! (Well, the cake was a mix, but I made buttercream frosting from scratch!)

Oh me! I have been kidnapped by CAKE and have suffered a terrible case of the sugar shakes - kept me awake most of last night!

So, on Monday....it's back to as much RAW NUTRITION as I can stand! I'm ready for it! I'm primed! The big green bowl is FULL of raw fruits! The fridge is full of raw veggies. The blender is gleaming on the counter....

They patiently await my return to their wholesome goodness!

I have a pretty forgiving attitude towards those little lapses. Obviously, the goal is to make them as few and far between as possible, but it is what we do MOST of the time that probably affects our health.

So I like that you seem to have "forgiven" yourself and have moved on!

I find that GUILT just makes me want more!

Good lady!

Ah, yes! Guilt does make one dwell! Well, I am moving on - been experimenting with some new raw recipes! So much fun! Will be posting photos too...right after I gobble everything down. ;)
