Toasty, warm & sweet goodness!
Another fab recipe from
Matthew Kenny's
Everyday Raw.
Coconut Macaroons!
I divided the batter and added fresh cocoa to the second half to make Cocoa Macaroons too.
OH-the-yum-yum-yumminess of these little treats! My son LOVES them and my husband was very suprised. He said, "That tastes like a macaroon should taste.
Here's what they looked like just before going into the hydrator.
I scooped them with a teaspoon, rather than a tablespoon. I wanted them to be bite sized. This, of course, also cut down on the drying time 2 days to one day. DELISH!

ok I think I need this book! I found the recipe for the mango wraps free on a site where they reviewed it and he said they could post it... but now I want this recipe too... That book seems like it would be a good one to get...
You take excellent pictures:) But no matter-- I can't eat coconut!!!
Hi there, just saw your comment about Sassy water on my other blog (since I got home and catching up with emails)... sassy water is from the Flat Belly Diet book, they tell you to add lemon slices and cucumber slices to water along with some chopped fresh ginger, place it in the fridge and drink from it all day... they call it 'sassy water' ;) I find it very nice and refreshing, usually I have lemon in my water anyway, but this is also nice.
Ooh I want to make cookies like this! I think Kristen has a recipe in her books so I'll have to get it out!
The cookies look great. I am not familiar with how to use a hydrator. I have aa list of Texas bloggers and will add you to my list, please come and follow along.
