Cantaloupe, Mango, Carrot Smoothie!

So fresh, cool and summer ripe! One of SuperKid's favorite smoothies to date!

Cut one cantaloupe in half and scoop out the seeds and pulp. Place seeds/pulp in a blender with a cup of water and blend. The water will turn creamy white. Stain out any seed pieces and put strained cantaloupe water back into the blender. Add two organic carrots and 1-1 1/2 cups of Mango (fresh or frozen) to the blender. Scoop out half the cantaloupe meat and add in. Blend into a creamy, dreamy fruit slush!

Be sure to let the blender go until it's smooth & creamy!

This sounds and looks great! I just got my Vita-mix blender delivered today!!! So, maybe this will be the first drink I try. You haven't let me down yet.

What is the purpose in blending the seeds and pulp? Nutrients? Flavor?
